The Health Information and Libraries Journal has recently published a study which has identified all the Spanish and Latin American journals publishing controlled clinical trials throughout our countries. This project, coordinated from the Iberoamerican Cochrane Centre, involved the participation of members of every coutry forming the Iberoamerican Cochrane Network. We hope this work will constitute a useful tool to perform projects of handsearching, controlled clinical trials identification in journals which are not indexed, and critical reviews of the conducted clinical trials by country and/or speciality.
