The XV Annual Meeting of the Iberoamerican Cochrane Network was held in Quito last 11th to 14th June.

This event was organised by Cochrane Ecuador, located in the Universidad Tecnológica Equinoccial (UTE) and coordinated by Daniel Simancas, supported by Ricardo Hidalgo-Ottolenghi, dean of the UTE, and Xavier Bonfill, director of the Iberoamerican Cochrane Centre.

Besides presenting interesting conferences and workshops related to evidence-based healthcare in the region, the co-ordinators of the Iberoamerican Cochrane Network Co ordinating Centres discussed the activities developed across the different countries for the last months and shared several on going projects.

The meeting registered 120 participants and had over 400 inscriptions to the 13 workshops, proving the success of the organisation and participation of this event.
